Hello!
My name is Kirstyn and I have recently gotten an amazing opportunity to study medicine this May in Phitsanulok Thailand! Because of this I decided to make a blog about my journey there.

I want to be a physicians assistant specializing in pediatrics, this trip allows me to explore just that over seas and experience medicine in a different light. This is a once in a life time opportunity and I could not be more excited that I got in! Medicine has always been something I have been interested in, but it is really helping people that I am truly passionate about. I am hoping this trip will only solidify what I want to do for the rest of my life. Not only is this an amazing opportunity for myself, it will also look great on my PA school application and give me an advantage when applying in a few short years. This is a great educational experience for me as well as broadening my horizons and gaining cultural experience and gaining connections around the world with the other students that I will be living with for two weeks.
When I set my mind to something I go out and accomplish it. My goals are high, but my reach for them is higher. I have always had the desire to go out and see the world. I want to be well educated and see all aspects of life, I never want to be ignorant. That is why I have sought out this opportunity and hopefully many more to come.
