It's about that time where I get on the plane to my first internship in Thailand and I am so freaking excited. I leave Wednesday at 6am and I plan on uploading videos at least once a day to give updates on all of my travels, and daily activities. I will probably update this blog more than Facebook, so if you want to see what I will be doing on the daily you can follow this website. I am currently packing and gathering the last little things I will need before I head out.
I would also like to personally thank everyone who donated to this trip and help me get here. Because of all of you I have raised $3,000 out of the $3,300 needed for this trip! That means all I have had to pay for is my plane ticket and medicine to go! Without a doubt I would not be heading to Thailand in two short days if it were not for everyone's tremendous love and support. I couldn't be more grateful and will try to share as much of my experience as I can with you all.
The two weeks that I am in Thailand I will be scrubbin' it up 40 hours a week. The first week I will be shadowing in a smaller hospital observing general diseases and injuries such as cardiovascular disease, respiratory and so on. My second week I get to go to the bigger hospital and observe trauma surgeries which I am unbelievably excited for. My hope for this trip is that it will solidify everything I am working towards and have me fall even deeper in love with the medical field.
Thank you again to everyone who is praying for me and helped me get here. I can't wait to share what I learn while I am abroad with you, don't forget to subscribe and stay updated!
